After carefully shortlisting a number of independent kitchen companies, our client chose Ben Argent Kitchens to design the kitchen and adjoining scullery for this exceptional self-build home.

Constructed using a prefabricated modular system, the house combines cutting-edge smart technology with a strong connection to nature. Large sliding glass doors open onto a natural swimming pool and timber decking, creating a seamless link between inside and out.

At the heart of the space is our longest kitchen island to date, measuring an impressive 5.2 metres. The smoked eucalyptus veneer was individually hand selected, with the client joining us to choose the exact bundles before they were handcrafted into the finished cabinetry.

Full-height antique mirror behind the sink reflects the surrounding landscape, while a concealed door to the scullery disappears into the run of tall cabinetry, maintaining the clean architectural lines of the kitchen.

This project perfectly demonstrates how thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship and close collaboration can create a truly individual kitchen.
